Using hand blown glass as a canvas, I form a balance of color, texture, and shape. My work reinterprets Verre églomisé, a method of reverse painting on glass that emerged in the craftwork of 13th and 14th century Italy, which I have developed upon for the application of semi-transparent layers of paint to glass.
